Marken, a provider of clinical supply solutions, plans to expand its global cold chain network to respond to the growing need for just-in-time conditioning and preparation of temperature-controlled packaging solutions.

By the end of 2014, Marken will have additional qualified equipment and capacity at all of its 30 locations. Marken says that new good distribution practice enforcement guidelines has generated an increase in client requests for secure, just-in-time temperature control of investigational medical product shipments. Marken will also announce new developments in its logistics network in the coming weeks.
