Bio X Cell Expands to China

Colin Kennedy, Business Development Manager, Bio X Cell

Bio X Cell, a Lebanon, New Hampshire-based producer of functional in vivo antibodies for translational research, has expanded to China. Colin Kennedy, Business Development Manager, Bio X Cell, outlined the company’s expansion at the DCAT Member Company Announcement Forum during DCAT Week.

The company opened a new supply and distribution center in Beijing, China, with shipments from the facility beginning in March (2025). The new Beijing distribution center will enhance service to researchers and institutions across China by increasing inventory availability to expedite order fulfillment. The expansion services customers directly in China and expedites delivery time to end-users in the region from weeks to days.

The expansion complements the company’s flagship distribution center in Germany, as well as partnerships that extend the Bio X Cell name to Singapore and Korea, along with its headquarters and manufacturing facility in New Hampshire.

The expansion aligns with the company’s core strategic pillars of growth: (1) accelerate delivery of high purity antibodies to enable global research (2) support global scientific discovery by providing antibodies formulated and optimized for functional in Vivo use as well as providing custom antibody development and scale-up services to drive innovation in immunology and oncology research; (3) invest in growing markets by developing R&D capacity globally to align capabilities and capacity with research trends; and (4) facilitate integration of global research. Its China Logistics Hub serves that role by enabling collaboration between US and Europe with Chinese biopharma, research institutions, and contract research organizations.
