Ipca Laboratories, a Mumbai, India-based supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products, has agreed to acquire Pisgah Labs, a Pisgah Forest, North Carolina-headquartered contract services provider.

Pisgah Labs was originally founded in 1981 as a contract manufacturer and developer of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. Pisgah Labs has been a chemistry service provider for over three decades and will continue to operate out of its North Carolina manufacturing facility under the Pisgah trade name.

Pisgah Labs will be acquired by Ipca Pharmaceutical and Onyx Scientific, Ipca’s Sunderland, England-based wholly owned contract manufacturing organization.
