Confab, a contract development and manufacturing organization specializing in the pharmaceutical development of semi-solid and solid dosage forms, including tablet, capsule and suppository manufacturing, has named Carolyn Gudz, MBA, as senior director of business development and customer service. In her role, Gudz will implement strategies and tactics to enrich the experience for the company's current clients, strengthen existing partnerships, and grow its client base. Gudz will help to promote the global capabilities of Confab's cGMP-compliant facility located in Quebéc.

Gudz has extensive pharmaceutical experience as well as knowledge of business-to-business development and customer-care strategies. Before joining Confab, she served as director of business development at Jubilant HollisterStier in Montreal.

In 2010, Confab was acquired by Renaissance Acquisition Holdings. Subsequently, DPT was also acquired by Renaissance Acquisition Holdings in 2011. In 2013, Confab integrated with DPT to offer a broader range of services.
