The global healthcare company Fresenius Kabi is establishing a $47-million pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and distribution center in Victoria, Australia, according to a press release by the Government of Victoria. 

Fresenius Kabi Australia offers a wide range of products and services, including infusion treatments, oncology compounding and generic drugs.The company supplies intravenous therapies to Australian hospitals and specialist clinics for use in surgery, emergency departments and intensive care.

The new operation will focus on manufacturing intravenous products and oncology delivery, via the Fresenius Kabi freeflex® infusion bag, a flexible, PVC/DEHP free container.
