Dalton Pharma Services, AB SCIEX Collaborate on Antibody Drug Conjugates

Dalton Pharma Services, chemistry, analytical and formulation development services company, and AB SCIEX, an analytical instrumentation company, have formed a research collaboration to develop antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) analysis capabilities. This will include development of a more definitive and comprehensive method for the identification of drug loading and position of conjugation on macromolecules.

The research includes the preparation and characterization of ADCs by Dalton scientists working with AB SCIEX experts to develop standardized analytical procedures for determining the chemical structures of conjugated molecules.

Results of the first phase of the collaboration were featured at the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, held in June, 2014 in Baltimore. The partnership will continue to co-develop standardized analytical procedures using mass spectrometry technology and will and publish technical papers over the next upcoming months.
