SAFC Commercial, the custom manufacturing services business unit of Sigma Aldrich, has installed a new commercial-scale continuous flow reactor at its facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin with capacity to produce up to 150 kilogram of product per day. The continuous flow reactor in Sheboygan is currently on line. The reactor is complemented by a smaller pilot-scale continuous flow reactor that is being fabricated at the company’s facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to carry out process optimization studies and manufacturing capability of up to 30 kilogram of product per day.
