Takeda Pharmaceutical Company has opened its new global headquarters building in Nihonbashi-Honcho, Tokyo. The building, completed in March 2018, will serve as Takeda’s head office for its operations worldwide.

In December 2017, Takeda agreed to sell its Tokyo headquarters and Takeda Shin-Edobashi Building to Takashimaya Company.
