Patricia Van Arnum has more than 20 years of experience as a business and science editor and journalist, covering the chemical, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and fine-chemicals industries. Prior to joining the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) in 2014, Ms. Van Arnum was Executive Editor of Pharmaceutical Technology from 2006 to 2014 and Executive Editor of ICIS Chemical Business and Chemical Market Reporter (CMR) from 1995–2005. She holds undergraduate degrees in chemistry, economics, and political science. She is a member of the American Chemical Society, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Additionally, Patricia works with the DCAT Education Committee, Education Committee Task Forces, and Supply Management Committee in developing the education programs at DCAT Week and Sharp Sourcing. She also works with the DCAT Research & Benchmarking Task Force for DCAT Benchmarking, an informational resource from DCAT on providing benchmarking studies on topics of interest for DCAT member companies.

 

Editorial Committee

The Value Chain Insights Editorial Committee is responsible for advising DCAT staff on topics and subjects of interest to DCAT members for DCAT's Value Chain Insights, a weekly information resource of DCAT, and for offering feedback on its editorial content. The breadth and depth of the collective expertise of members of the Value Chain Insights Editorial Committee ensures that DCAT Value Chain Insights serves the varying information needs of DCAT member companies and that it delivers topical, salient, and relevant content for DCAT members.
