WuXi AppTec reports that its small-molecule active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and advanced intermediate manufacturing facility in Jinshan, Shanghai, China has passed a general GMP and pre-approval inspection from the US Food and Drug Administration. The facility is part of WuXi AppTec's subsidiary, Shanghai SynTheAll Pharmaceutical (STA), a contract development and manufacturing organization.This is the third time that STA's Jinshan facility passed an US FDA inspection.
